Central Carolina Home Inspections, LLC is owned and managed by NC licensed home inspector Jeffrey Howard. Jeff established his home inspection business as a new way to follow his passion and help his community. As the company’s sole inspector, he is able to give his undivided attention to each and every client he works with. Jeff particularly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers, guiding them through the ins and outs of operating the home and maintaining its best condition well into the future.

17 Years of Building Industry Experience
Jeff’s extensive knowledge of building practices and home operation comes from his 17 years of experience in the industry. In high school, he started repairing homes on mission trips with his church and building homes with the local Habitat for Humanity. He was given the position of Crew Leader by his junior year and began training other volunteers on how to build homes. He went on to earn his BS in Construction Management and got a job at KB Home, a residential construction company. Through home inspection, Jeff is able to use his own skills and knowledge to help homebuyers become better acquainted with their property.
A Passion for Home Safety and Protecting His Community
In addition to owning Central Carolina Home Inspections, Jeff also works as a captain with a local municipal fire department. After volunteering with a department for two years, he found that his passion for helping people made him a great fit for the job. This experience gives him the unique ability as a home inspector to focus on building safety, keeping buyers and their families feeling safe and sound as they move into and live in their new homes. Jeff keeps batteries and smoke detectors on him at all times, and he will not leave a house without functioning smoke detectors!
